Born in Tondo, Manila of Chinese parentage, Chinkee is the eldest of three children. After his father experienced big losses in business, Chinkee started to realize the importance of perseverance and hard work at a very young age. The family crisis brought him to Divisoria where he bought anything that he could peddle to classmates and friends, including toilet papers, from which he made some profits. Chinkee is not only a motivational speaker but he is also the best selling author  of the book “Till Debt Do Us Part’  which sold over 60,000 copies and have received a congratulatory letter from no other than the president of the Philippines “President Noynoy Aquino.”  He has also released 3 more books  which are also best sellers.

He is a host of the 92.3 New Fm Radio and Channel 41 Aksyon TV  program of Chink Positive  and also host one of the segments in TV 5 Kumare Klub” & “Balitaang Tapat.”   He used to be the co-host the Hall of Fame Winner of the Catholic Mass Media program “Radyo Negosyo”  of DZMM.
